We are a community of designers who create architecture and environments sensitive to context, time and place.
We believe that designing for resilience requires living with water® and building with nature.
We see places as a continuum from building details to regional watersheds. Our Living With Water® approach to planning and community engagement has catalyzed resilience efforts in cities across the U.S. and abroad.

We have to let gravity and nature work. We have to let water be where it needs to be. Our solution is inherently natural.

After Hurricane Katrina, Waggonner & Ball established a series of workshops to address water challenges through a collaborative and holistic approach that aimed to increase value as well as safety at multiple scales. From there, workshops have become an integral portion in thinking strategically for a community.
