Trae Horne

Trae is an architecture graduate committed to socially responsible architecture that is environmentally sustainable and mentally stimulating who has developed leadership experience and skills across multiple digital and analogue systems of expression. After studying in Chicago at The Illinois Institute of Technology, he has returned to the south to connect conscientious urbanism to the lush nature of the Gulf Coast.

In the summer of 2023, Trae studied at the BaseHabitat Summer School in Austria where he learned hands-on building techniques for earthen architecture. His outlook of architecture is through an eco-centric humanitarian approach that increases quality of life while providing a stronger relationship to the earth. He believes that engaging more with nature provides stronger community health and prolonged sustainability.
