Since joining Waggonner & Ball in 1994, Brian has worked on numerous award-winning designs. He was involved in design and construction documents for Tulane’s School of Theatre and Dance, Elleonora P. McWilliams Hall, which received an AIA New Orleans Honor Award, an AIA Louisiana Honor Award, and an AIA Gulf States Region Citation of Merit. His involvement has typically encompassed both design and construction aspects of each project. Brian was a key designer and construction administrator for a major expansion of Tulane University’s A.B. Freeman School of Business in New Orleans. The new standalone building accommodates graduate and executive level programs and won an AIA New Orleans Merit Award and an AIA Louisiana Honor Award. He also provided local architectural support for Barbara Greenbaum House, Tulane’s newest student housing, designed by Architecture Research Office in New York with assistance from Waggonner & Ball.

Following Hurricane Katrina, Brian’s recovery projects included restoration of an 1875 steeple for Rayne Memorial Methodist Church and two new buildings for the St. Bernard Parish School Board: the Cultural Arts Center and the Maumus Science Center and Planetarium. Other outstanding efforts have included the adaptive reuse of an 1853 assembly hall into the U.S. Courthouse in Natchez, Mississippi for GSA; new middle school and athletics facilities for Metairie Park Country Day School; and corporate headquarters for Martin Wine Cellar in New Orleans.
