Learning from the Netherlands, water infrastructure challenges equal design opportunities in Charleston.
Dutch Dialogues® Charleston is a collaborative process to catalyze the City’s response to flood threats in a way that delivers value and quality of life for all residents.
Given Charleston’s abundant natural and man-made assets, creatively linking spatial planning, integrated water management, infrastructure, and development will yield a compelling vision for Charleston’s future.
These Dialogues demonstrate the need for a comprehensive investment and redevelopment in water infrastructure. The Charleston Regional and Urban Water Plan provides a road map to guide these measures mitigating flood risk.
