We are pleased to announce the addition of Brooke Morris, PE, PLA to Waggonner & Ball to advance our mission of Living with Water® and Building with Nature. A key thought leader, long-time collaborator and close friend of our office, Brooke is a licensed Landscape Architect and Civil Engineer practicing at the intersection of disciplines with a focus on urban stormwater management planning, modeling, and design.
Before joining WB, Brooke founded and operated Procella Design LLC, a specialty New Orleans-based stormwater design firm. Through Procella, Brooke collaborated with WB on several projects, notably the Spirit of Charity Downtown Stormwater Opportunities Study, the Lafitte Blueway, and the Gentilly Resilience District.
“As I looked to expand Procella to other markets, I came to appreciate how aligned my goals were with WB’s mission and practice,” said Morris. “Both of us see the power of infrastructure serving as public space in changing environments. I’m thrilled to join the firm that coined living with water in New Orleans and is successfully exporting that approach.”
Brooke joins her former LSU classmate, Kelli Reinhardt, AIA, ASLA, PLA, in continuing to build Waggonner & Ball’s landscape architecture and resilience practice. We are thrilled for her to serve as a bridge between engineering and design to strengthen our collaborations with partner disciplines and build new capabilities within the firm. Welcome Brooke!
