Waggonner & Ball is encouraged by the Isle de Jean Charles community’s first step settling into New Isle. WB led the design team, with CSRS and Olin Landscape Architects, to co-develop the New Isle site master plan and home design concepts with residents. The new energy efficient homes are located outside the 100-year floodplain, elevated above the 500-year floodplain, and designed to withstand 150mph hurricane winds. We hope New Isle will become a new center of the community’s culture and heritage.
