Mike joined Waggonner & Ball in 2017 after obtaining his Masters in Landscape Architecture at the University of Pennsylvania. He provides socio-ecological regional planning and design knowledge as well as technical expertise with graphic representation and digital modeling. After his first year of graduate school, he interned with Waggonner & Ball and was instrumental in developing innovative opportunities to integrate ecological restoration with stormwater management in St. Bernard Parish. He has also worked with the Dredge Research Collaborative and contributed toward a workshop and publication that won an ASLA honor award. Before beginning graduate school, he worked for four years in coastal Louisiana assessing environmental damage associated with petrochemical spills including the impact the BP Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill had on shorebirds.
