Kaylan Mitchell is a Master of Architecture candidate at Tulane School of Architecture in New Orleans, Louisiana. She is currently serving as president of the School of Architecture’s Graduate Government. Kaylan received her Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Louisiana State University with a focus in interpersonal communication and a minor in architectural history. Her interests lie in the social atmosphere of architecture, architectural memories, and how they shape the built space. Through her studies and research, Kaylan has been inspired to pursue Tulane’s graduate certificate in Preservation Studies beginning in Fall 2021.
